Commissioning & Flight to SanFrancisco

Last Sunday, both MP1 and MP2 were commissioned by Forcey to go on our trips and share the good news of the Gospel and how Jesus has changed our lives for good with others. Pastor Chris prayed over both teams and challenged us with 4 verses - Acts 4:13 (be bold and show them that you've been with Jesus), Phil. 2:5-8 (be a humble servant like Jesus), John 15:5-8 (remain in Christ), and Col. 1:9-14 (prayer is important and this passage has a good prayer to pray. I have been at a family reunion in Minnesota for the past week, so I'm flying out of Chicago while the rest of the team is flying out of Baltimore. As I was writing this post this morning, Carmi called to say their flight has been delayed an hour and a half. All week my self-challenge has been to live like Col. 3:23 says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for God, not for man". I know there's a plan here with everything that happens. The real question is, "Am I doing everything to glorify God?" We appreciate your prayers! To God be the glory.
